Moment of Truth

-->
Summer is almost over and what a glorious time it was. Studying Spanish in Salamanca, making new friends, and enjoying the nightlife denied 20-year olds in the U.S. The richness of learning outside the college classroom is apparent. This was the reward for enduring 6-months of battling ED.

Lauren arrives home after 6-weeks away. It’s time to review and assess her situation. Things have gone well, overall. She coped with strange foods eaten at unusual hours. She grabbed sleep when she could. There are no regrets. However, ED is present under new guises. What do you mean you don’t really like dessert anymore? You feel uncomfortable eating more than others. Ignoring jet-lagged hunger cues. You want a Spanish breakfast. I don’t think so. Spain is over. It’s time to turn the clock back. College is looming. Will we have to activate Plan B? After all, what’s the rush? There will be no compromise with ED. No negotiation. Full recovery remains the goal marked by the end of your suffering.
